Letter to Dr. Carlton's Patients

I am writing to share an important change regarding my role at Biltmore OBGYN. Beginning June 2, I will be transitioning from my current clinical position to focus exclusively on the care of laboring mothers and inpatient patients at Mission Hospital. Although I will continue to be part of the Biltmore OBGYN team, I will be stepping away from office visits and focusing exclusively on patients in the hospital setting.

Your ongoing care is very important to us. Your medical records will remain with the practice, and the team at Biltmore OBGYN is fully committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for you. You will continue to receive the highest quality care from our experienced and compassionate providers.

We are also pleased to announce that Dr. Jordan Staton will be joining our team later this summer. She is an experienced OBGYN provider and will be available for both obstetrical and gynecological care starting in August. Dr. Staton’s patient-centered philosophy ensures that every individual feels seen, heard, and understood.

This decision comes after careful consideration, and while I am looking forward to this new chapter in my medical career, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the trust and confidence my patients have placed in me as your healthcare provider. It has been my privilege to be part of your healthcare journey, and I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to have connected with this wonderful community.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your care. The relationships I’ve built have been one of the most rewarding aspects of my time at Biltmore OBGYN.

Wishing you continued health and wellness,

– Laura Carlton, MD
